Friends TV Show on DVD

Friends was one of the biggest hit comedy shows of the 1990s. Each week, thousands of viewers tuned in to see what Rachel, Ross, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Monica were up to. You can now get the Friends TV show on DVD and watch season after season of this funny, entertaining sitcom.

In addition to making stars out of some of the major characters, notably Jennifer Aniston, Friends also featured a slew of well known actors who appeared as guest stars on the show. This included Alec Baldwin, Tom Selleck, Elliott Gould and Gary Oldman, to name a few. Many stars made guest appearances on Friends because it was so well liked.

If you are looking for the Friends TV Show on DVD, you can find the seasons in order. If you know someone who enjoys watching Friends, this can be the perfect gift for them. They can watch Friends over and over again. This is one of those comedies that can be viewed more than once and still get a chuckle or two. As the seasons went on, the cast underwent changes, although the original cast remained the same throughout the entire series of the show - something rare in network TV. They fell in love with one another and towards the end, we found marriages between some of the Friends. Some of the relationships didn't work out, while some did. One of the funniest relationships was the May-December romance between Tom Selleck's character and Monica, who was young enough to be his daughter. Alec Baldwin also had a funny appearance in Friends playing an over-hyped and friendly date of Phoebe. Each show was something funny and the writing was very consistent throughout the series, making it fresh each season.

Friends consisted of three guys and three girls, all in their late 20s and early 30s who were all single. The crux of Friends in the beginning was the relationship between Rachel and Ross. Their relationship reached highs and lows during the entire duration of the show. The marriage between Monica and Chandler was a nice surprise for those who followed the show. Unlike other sitcoms, the characters aged and grew as people. Eventually, all but Joey and Phoebe were paired off. Friends was a hit with audiences of all ages, especially the younger viewers of Generation X who saw themselves or at least some of their characteristics in the characters portrayed in Friends.

The early episodes of Friends were among the best, although as the show continued, the characters seemed to come alive even more and more guest stars began making appearances on the show. If you like Friends, or if you know someone who likes this hit TV show, then getting the Friends TV Show on DVD can be the perfect buy.
